SCARAB Aviation Labs is a subsidiary of International Aviation Center, an autonomous non-commercial organization.
SCARAB was founded in 2002 by team of associates with the purpose of ultralight airplanes design and production. Priority direction of our work are future personal transport vehicles. In our work, we receive consulting services from the Federal Space Agency (Roskosmos - Russian analog of NASA), Sukhoi Design Bureau and the Moscow Aviation Institute.
SCARAB staff are young and gifted professionals. Using innovative technologies and leading design technics allowed us to accomplish several projects, one of them being paramotors (or, as we call it by the name of chief designer, begalets) named Scarab and Evolution.
Currently we are working on two experimental projects, Sirius and Iris.
SCARAB production facilities are settled in Pyatigorsk, at the sunny south of Russia, where we can perform test flights 300 days a year.
Production facility separated into two departments - experimental and serial production.
Serial production department allows mass production of Evolution paramotors - both as kit and ready-to-fly package. Experimental department is busy with design and creation of the new aircrafts, that soon will appear in the news headlines, as we hope.
SCARAB chief designer is Moscow Aviation Institute graduate, Alexander Begak. He also is a test pilot of all of his designs flown. His portfolio consists of more than 15 aircraft projects. |
